Busy

I am the mother of 4 children, ages 6, 4, 2, and 5 months.
They are on 3 sports teams (T-ball for Nathan, Baseball and Soccer for Jacob).
I have 4 callings (Webelos leader, RS music leader, RS activities comity, ward chorister).
My husband has 2, big ones (Scout Master and 2nd counselor in the YM presidency).
We have something on our calendar 7 days a week.
No wonder I have 0 time for hobbies, or a job.

Catching Up

I was looking through my pictures and realized that I have missed posting some of the fun things we have done. So here is my attempt to catch up.

Backyard Camping

My boys are camping enthusiasts just like their father. They beg to sleep out at least weekly if not daily. A couple of weeks ago we agreed to a backyard camp out. It was complete with a fire, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, and the boys sleeping in the tent with dad.I love Adam's hot dog eating style

Cross Country Skiing

Randy's sister, Kristin, invited us to go cross country skiing. This was a first for us, but we were up for the challenge. Plus we thought it would be a fun date. We went to Millcreek Canyon. Going up was tons of fun and great exercise. Going down was a different story. Let me just say that my knees still hurt from falling on them.
Steve, Kristin, and I ended up taking off or skis and walking down, my knees, and my ego, couldn't take anymore.

Randy, however, figured it out and skied to the end.

House Party

Have you heard of House Party? It is awesome. I signed up to host a party at houseparty.com. Mine was a DiGiorno House Party. They sent me a party pack with coupons for free Pizza and Breadsticks to serve at the party, coupons to give away, games to play, and decorations all for free. Basically, companies want you to try their product, and to get all your friends and family to try it too. I just had to take a survey after to let them know what we thought of the new product. It was so much fun. I have applied to do two more, one for Bryer's Ice Cream and one for home canning products. I hope I get picked!
Enjoying some yummy, free, DiGiorno Pizza

Natalie's Blessing

Natalie was blessed in Church on March 28th. My parents were here from Washington, and my Grandma Vicky, whom Natalie Victoria was named for, was also able to come up from California. It was a great day. We are so happy to have our sweet little girl in our family.
This is the best family picture we could get.

I need to take photography lessons from my dad.

Adam

Today my sweet, and often troublesome, little towhead is 2 years old. Adam already keeps me on my toes, I can only imagine the kind of trouble he will get into now that he is two. He is very curious, and always into everything. There are not many things in this house that he has not explored. I can't leave anything I don't want him to get into anywhere that he can get to it. He is a great climber, but luckily he is not tall enough to open doors yet. Here are some pictures of fun ways I found Adam in the last few weeks.Playing with silly glasses

Where is Adam?

He gave himself whiskers

He found a highlighter I had been using and forgot to put away, I love his face, it says, "What, I didn't do anything."

Finger painting, in this case I gave him the paints, what was I thinking?

In bed with Jacob, you would think that this was his bed since he is on the pillow, but no, I guess Jacob just moved out of his way. This is actually a huge problem for Jacob. When we put them to bed Adam is all over the room and climbs up with Jacob almost every night. We have had to start putting him to bed first so he can't bug Jacob.
Sleeping with Nathan, Nathan slept in their room while my Grandma was visiting.

Just this morning I found him sitting on the toy shelf pretending to be a toy

Happy Birthday Adam! Even though you are trouble, we love you so much. You make us laugh everyday. And that face is just so dang cute!

April Fools

My Daffodils

Is it just me, or did I wake up sometime in January? I thought it was April 1st today. These pictures really were taken today, no joke.

I have been kind of a blog slacker lately. You have to excuse me, I do have FOUR children that take up all of my time. I will have to post a catch up soon because I have some cute pictures.

Snapshots of My Day

After I had Adam I did a post about my crazy day with three little kids. This is sort of the same thing except in picture form. Here is a look into my life with a Kindergartner, a preschooler, a toddler, and a new baby.

Watching Curious George, at 7 am.

Good Morning!

Breakfast, theirs and mine. I am on Weight Watchers, I have to eat something a little more substantial than their favorite, cold cereal.

Adam all dressed, what this picture doesn't show is how I had to wrestle his clothes on him.

Laundry.

Nathan all ready for Joy School.

Before my shower, and after.

A diaper change, one of countless.

Adam having a tantrum.

The elusive smile, the first one caught on camera.

A quick trip to Wal Mart, with only three kids.

Unloading the dishes with my little helper.

Yes, that is what you think it is.

All clean!

They had lunch, she had lunch, I had lunch, in that order.

Jacob all ready for Kindergarten.

Another load of laundry.

Naps.

Reading stories.

The one thing I do for myself everyday is exercise for about 30 minutes. While I don't love workout videos, I do like this set I found by Lindsey Brin. She says it is like a tummy tuck with out the surgery. We will see. I do feel my abs getting stronger, which I defiantly need after 4 babies.

Snack time.

My messy house.

Checking email.

Diaper leak. Two in diapers is too many.

Brothers wrestling.

Picking up Jacob from school.

Snack time, frosted sugar cookies, nice and messy. As you can see, they like to lick the frosting off first, then they beg for more.

Homework.

Yeah! Daddy is home!

Dinner-Thai Peanut Stir Fry

Randy set up our new tent in the basement. It is the perfect place to play and have story time.

Tooth Brush time.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds, or in this case the older boys were snuggled in their sleeping bags in the tent.

Daddy finally gets some Natalie time.
